New Build Tug Boat

Israel Ports Company has ordered a new tug boat for domestic service from Union Naval Valencia (UNV) yard in Spain.

The engine room machinery is monitored and controlled by Totem Engine Alarm, Monitoring & Control System (IMACS).

The vessel is built to LR classifications and meet the Israeli Ministry of Transport regulations. Delivery is expected to be in February 2011.

The vessel will operate at the Port of Haifa.
